Under Corporate Insolvency Process of IBC – 2016
L&T Halol Shamlaji Tollway Limited (L&T HSTL), a 100% owned subsidiary of L&T IDPL has completed the augmentation of the 173 km long two-lane road to a four-lane divided road from Halol to Shamlaji on State Highway 5 in Gujarat on BOT (Toll) basis. This stretch is an alternate to the NH-8 section connecting Vadodara and Shamlaji, thereby bypassing the urban settlements of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Himmatnagar. With an 18 km bypass to Godhra Town and 4 toll plazas, this INR 13.05 billion project offered by Gujarat State Road Development Corporation (GSRDC) offers a direct and faster connectivity, and state-of-the-art facilities to the commuters.The SPV started the commercial operations of the project in April 2012. L&T HSTL will operate and maintain the road stretch for the concession period of 20 years (which commenced from September 11, 2009) including the construction period of 30 months.
