    Connecting the heart of Rajasthan to the marble capital of the state – Kishangarh, the Jaipur-Kishangarh Expressway Limited (JKEL) project is located on the National Highway 8 (NH-8) between Jaipur and Kishangarh. The scope of this project included the construction of 90 km of six-lane highway with flyovers, interchanges at major junctions and provision of state-of-the-art highway traffic management and toll system. The INR 7.29 billion project when completed was the largest six-lane BOT road project implemented by NHAI in India. L&T IDPL was part of the consortium of developers for this project and was also the EPC contractor for a 40 km stretch and responsible for installation and commissioning of the Toll and HTMS for the entire stretch. The construction was completed ahead of schedule and commercial operations commenced in April 2005. L&T exited from the project SPV in November 2006.
