Jadcherla-Kothakota (Telangana)

The project for the four-laning of the road from Jadcherla to Kothakota section of NH-7 in Andhra Pradesh on BOT basis, under the National Highways Development Programme of NHAI was executed by L&T Western Andhra Tollways Limited (L&T WATL) which is a matured road asset.
This 100% shareholding venture of L&T IDPL is a 56-km road stretch between Jadcherla and Kothakota & forms an important link in the Hyderabad-Bangalore corridor. The scope of this INR 3.73 billion project also included the construction of a bypass to Jadcherla Town and a Toll Plaza with state-of-the-art toll collection system for the benefit of the road users.
L&T WATL successfully commissioned the project for commercial operations in March 2009 ahead of the scheduled completion date and is responsible for toll collections, operations and maintenance of the road stretch till the end of the 20 year concession period.
