Rajkot-Jamnagar-Vadinar (Gujarat)

The four laning of the Rajkot-Vadinar section (131.75 km) of State Highway-25 in Gujarat, on BOT (Toll) basis, for Gujarat State Road Development Corporation (GSRDC) has been executed by L&T Rajkot-Vadinar Tollway Limited (L&T RVTL) – an SPV owned 100% by L&T IDPL. The road traverses through towns of Rajkot, Dhrol and Jamnagar and provides better connectivity to industrial hubs of Vadinar and Jamnagar. The SPV started the commercial operations of the project in February 2012. The scope of this INR 10.96 billion project included the up gradation of the existing Jamnagar By pass and Rajkot spur road. L&T RVTL will operate and maintain the road stretch for the period of concession which is 20 years (which commenced from September 11, 2009), including the construction period of 30 months.
