Sangareddy to KNT / MH border (Andhra Pradesh – Karnataka)

    L&T Deccan Tollways Limited (L&T DTL), a 100% owned SPV of L&T IDPL, will be executing four laning of the 145 km road connecting Sangareddy to Karnataka/Maharashtra on DBFOT basis. The project was bid out among stiff competition and received 19 bids from among the 37 prequalified applicants. The stretch is part of NH 9 which connects places like Pune, Mumbai, Solapur, Aurangabad, etc. to Hyderabad and Vijayawada.

    Equally spread between the states of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, the INR 12.73 billion project requires four laning of the existing two lane stretch along with allied facilities like bus bays, rest areas, safety features, etc. Construction has to be completed during a 30 month period and toll collection shall commence after that for a period of 25 years. The Concession Agreement for the project was executed on the 2nd February 2012 between National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and L&T DTL, an SPV promoted by L&T IDPL. The project is currently in Development phase & is expected to start construction as soon as Appointed Date is declared by NHAI.
