Devihalli-Hassan (Karnataka)

    This NHAI project for four laning of the 78.75 km stretch between Devihalli and Hassan in Karnataka on the NH 48, on BOT (Toll) basis, has been executed by Devihalli Hassan Tollway Ltd (DHTL), which is a 100% owned subsidiary of L&T IDPL.

    Connecting the coastal city of Mangalore with the state capital Bangalore, which are two major cities of Karnataka state, this highway is an important link for the transport of goods from Mangalore Port to the city of Bangalore. The scope of this INR 4.94 billion project is inclusive of the construction of a 19 km by-pass and 2 state-of-the-art Toll Plazas for the benefit of the commuters.

    The construction activity for this project was started in December 2010 and the project started commercial operations in November 2013. The concession period for the project is 30 years.
