Ahmedabad - Mehsana road (Gujarat)

L&T, the shareholder and EPC contractor in Ahmedabad-Mehsana Toll Road Company Limited (AMTRL) - an SPV promoted by Government of Gujarat, executed the construction of 51.6 km long four-lane toll road from Ahmedabad to Mehsana and the 11 km Kadi Kalol spur road, part of Gujarat State Highway-41 on BOT basis. The scope of this INR 3.78 billion project included the strengthening of existing two lane road, construction of service roads on either side of the pavement and the operation and maintenance of the entire project facility throughout the concession period. The project was completed ahead of schedule and L&T exited from the project SPV in July 2006.
